What Families Are Saying

Candace Meadows
As a healthcare professional I recommend this facility! The staff is compassionate and responsive. The med techs and caregivers and administrative teams are amazing. They have wonderful communication and truly care about their residents. Jill is friendly and collaborative and Bobbie is responsive and gets stuff done! The facility is clean and homey. This facility is beautiful, clean, and brand new. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Particularly, the nurse Letisha has been amazing at communication — she even hand delivered clothes to my father when he was in a temporary rehab facility nearby. Her care and communication is really what makes the place 5 stars for me. We did have some frustrating issues with the auto billing and had to change to writing a check each month. However as far as care and facilities go, I can’t say enough good things!

My mom has only been at this facility for a week (and I will update if needed), but so far, the experience has been a great one, including exchanges with administration. Special shout out to Anita, Wellness Nurse, who's on top of ensuring residents' safety and care and Duane, who is genuinely compassionate about meeting needs of residents. I moved my mom here from another facility that had more staff to resident ratio. Initially I was concerned about this but the care my mom receives exceeds the care she received at previous facility. I do hope the company that now owns Tucson Gardens, Care Partners Senior Living, considers hiring more staff to ensure continued safety of residents, as well as in advocacy of their staff, who truly work hard!

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my loved one runs out of money?
Before move-in, we conduct a financial review to assess available private resources. If needed, we work with families to explore alternative payment options, including adjusted private rates or transition to Medicaid. Our goal is to establish a clear, sustainable plan upfront—so there are no surprises later.
What types of activities do you offer?
We provide daily activities tailored to each resident’s individual needs, abilities and interests, ensuring meaningful engagement and participation.
Do you have nursing services available?
Yes. Licensed nurses are on-site five days per week, with 24/7 nurse oversight available for emergencies.
How are doctor visits handled?
If a resident is unable to travel, a physician visits the community weekly to provide on-site care and evaluations.
Is a diagnosis required to move in?
Yes. Because this is a specialized memory care community, all residents must have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia.
