What Families Are Saying

Candace Meadows
As a healthcare professional I recommend this facility! The staff is compassionate and responsive. The med techs and caregivers and administrative teams are amazing. They have wonderful communication and truly care about their residents. Jill is friendly and collaborative and Bobbie is responsive and gets stuff done! The facility is clean and homey. This facility is beautiful, clean, and brand new. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Particularly, the nurse Letisha has been amazing at communication — she even hand delivered clothes to my father when he was in a temporary rehab facility nearby. Her care and communication is really what makes the place 5 stars for me. We did have some frustrating issues with the auto billing and had to change to writing a check each month. However as far as care and facilities go, I can’t say enough good things!

My mom has only been at this facility for a week (and I will update if needed), but so far, the experience has been a great one, including exchanges with administration. Special shout out to Anita, Wellness Nurse, who's on top of ensuring residents' safety and care and Duane, who is genuinely compassionate about meeting needs of residents. I moved my mom here from another facility that had more staff to resident ratio. Initially I was concerned about this but the care my mom receives exceeds the care she received at previous facility. I do hope the company that now owns Tucson Gardens, Care Partners Senior Living, considers hiring more staff to ensure continued safety of residents, as well as in advocacy of their staff, who truly work hard!

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when my loved one’s financial resources are exhausted?
Prior to move-in, we conduct a financial review to assess available private resources. If needed, we explore alternative payment options, including negotiated private rates or transitioning to Medicaid. Our goal is to establish a sustainable financial plan upfront—so there are no unexpected surprises later.
What types of activities do you offer?
We provide daily activities tailored to each resident’s individual needs, abilities and interests to encourage engagement and well-being.
Do you provide nursing services?
Yes. We have staff available 24/7, including licensed nursing support. A licensed nurse is on-site for scheduled hours each week and available on-call for emergencies.
How are medical needs handled if my loved one cannot travel?
If a resident is unable to leave the community, a physician visits the facility weekly to provide care on-site.
How do you ensure residents are safe and do not leave unsupervised?
Our cottage-style design and 24-hour staffing allow for close supervision at all times. Exit doors are secured and alarmed and they lead to a protected interior courtyard, ensuring residents remain safe within the community.
Is a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or dementia required to live here?
Yes. Our community is specifically designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and a formal diagnosis is required for residency.
