This facility is beautiful, clean, and brand new. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Particularly, the nurse Letisha has been amazing at communication — she even hand delivered clothes to my father when he was in a temporary rehab facility nearby. Her care and communication is really what makes the place 5 stars for me. We did have some frustrating issues with the auto billing and had to change to writing a check each month. However as far as care and facilities go, I can’t say enough good things!

My mom has only been at this facility for a week (and I will update if needed), but so far, the experience has been a great one, including exchanges with administration. Special shout out to Anita, Wellness Nurse, who's on top of ensuring residents' safety and care and Duane, who is genuinely compassionate about meeting needs of residents. I moved my mom here from another facility that had more staff to resident ratio. Initially I was concerned about this but the care my mom receives exceeds the care she received at previous facility. I do hope the company that now owns Tucson Gardens, Care Partners Senior Living, considers hiring more staff to ensure continued safety of residents, as well as in advocacy of their staff, who truly work hard!

What medical records and histories do you keep for your residents?

Vineyard Park of Surprise’s nurse keeps a medical history for each of its residents as a supplement to the records of the resident’s physician. These records are private and securely stored and used in the development of the care plan for residents receiving care services, as a cross reference to care plan changes and in case of emergencies.

What is assisted care?

Assisted care is designed for active seniors who either need, or feel they will need, help with everyday living. It provides assurance that help will immediately be available in case of emergency, which creates an energetic environment full of friends, good food and activity.

What if I need personal care?

For residents requiring assistance with their daily living needs, a professional licensed staff is available to provide additional assisted care. Our assisted living program offers an individualized program of additional services including daily light housekeeping and well-being checks as well as personalized assistance with dressing and grooming, continence management, plus escort services to meals and activities.

Our care giving staff is available in the building 24 hours per day. We have a full time LPN that is in the building 7 days a week. We also have a nurse on-call 24 hours per day if an emergency arises.

Del E. Webb Memorial is just three miles and five quick minutes from Vineyard Park of Surprise.

What does rent include?

At Vineyard Park of Surprise, residents receive many services and amenities such as a sunlit living room, guest dining room, computer room, meeting room, game room, weekly housekeeping and linens, “anytime” restaurant style dining and more.

What are Vineyard Park of Surprise’s rates?

Rental at Vineyard Park of Surprise is month-to-month and initial residency includes an entrance fee. A second resident in a given room is charged a substantially reduced rate and a separate care plan, if necessary, is assessed and administered.

How do I pay for care?

We are a private pay community and also accept long-term care insurance and we allow a spend down to State Assistance (ask us about this great feature!). Residents and their families also enjoy our Automated Payment Plan, which uses pre-authorized payments to automatically debit their checking accounts for rent and assisted living services.
